If you have a model year that's not out of the 3/36 warranty.
warranty doesn't affect OTAs, they're always free as far as I know. Taking it to the dealer for the updates after warranty is not.

I drove around for an hour last night to make sure my battery was charged. Plugged in L2 charger. Started update. 12V was at 89%. Woke up this morning it was at 96%. I’d say that worked out well.
They just released that update a couple of months ago, you should have received it by now. Managed to eke out an extra 10 miles or so if I remember correctly. If you haven’t received it yet, check with your local dealer. It’s called the 2024 Mustang Mach E in case you’re wondering.I’m waiting for an update that will increase my range… too much to ask? ??
Except if you note the 'havn't gotten an OTA in 6+ months' threads you'll see the common denominator is 2021 cars. That's what I mean by they don't seem to care. Maybe they do taper them off after warranty expires. Or they screwed the pooch so badly with the 21's they're scared to keep rolling updates out. I havn't received a PU since October 2023.
Interesting, the blue cruise is probably the number one reason I like this car... Driving long distances is such a hassle in other cars
I agree in general with you about the 2021 says I have a 2021 GT but I have received an update about three months ago and that’s the last one since. Blue cruise is not that great in my opinion, but perhaps I’m pending a newer update to make it smarter. Nothing like GM’s super cruise and latest Tesla’s.
Absolutely love the feature on long roads.
