Months go by and nothing, Today back to back updates. One was something about the audio system the next was the left gate? Why would a liftgate need an update ?

Was a bug on 23s where it wouldn’t open all the way if the car was locked so you had to hit the button twice.

I had the Tesla update stuck since March . If it wasn't for the dealer software hack I was just about to take my GT in to the dealer....and then yesterday I got the "update complete " notification at the gym. Im sure some of my fellow gym rats were wondering who let out the very loud "HELL YEAH !"

I got 2, First one was June 30th that improved the way updates are handled and then yesterday was the 6.2 update that moved the "Record Voice Feedback" to the app screen. I was hoping it was the one that provided the new UI buttons on the top of the screen but hey atleast they are coming. First updates ive gotten since I got the car back in April! Glad to see Ford is getting these updates out now!

The same reason any other module needs an update?

I am still doggedly blocking all automatic updates. They're not tempting me with any of this stuff. I am perfectly satisfied with my old, hopelessly outdated liftgate.

LOL and here I am with my FDRS rig that hasn’t been fired up in over a year, waiting for a module update that entices me to update it. I am OK with whatever Ford decides to send to my car, whenever they send it (especially since I seem to be in one of the later groups of VINs that’s so late if there is a problem with an OTA they pull the OTA before my VIN comes up). When I hear of a powertrain update that extends the time limit or the peak power or an update to the Magneride or steering that give me better feel, I will be all over those. Ford couldn’t take my $50 licensing fee fast enough. ??
