Update on Boo: got the car back from the dealer today after 29 days. Everything it was in for appears to be fixed so far.

HOWEVER, I think when they were removing the windshield and it broke, it fell on the center touch screen. The top of the touchscreen boarder where it’s piano black gloss has a ton of deep scratching like it was dragged against rocks. There are also a few scratches on the touch screen itself. Also, the charge door is like… half spring loaded now? I don’t know what happened but the door is usually super super springy but now it only slowly springs open about 1/3 the way and then I have to push it the rest of the way. I only noticed these things once I got home so I’ll have to call the dealer again. Also, there was a ton of glass in the car and lots of finger prints on the white ceiling from the glass roof recall. Had them clean the ceiling when I was there. Only noticed the glass when I got home and put my dog in the car. Had to vacuum everything right away. So yeah, guess this is gonna be a whole thing again.
Sorry to hear about the bezel.

The 1/3 charger port may be a good thing and the springy thing maybe not so much. Some here have bought an after market insert to achieve just that. I have a minor dint in the front fender where it accidently sprung all the way out and then I caught it with my leg moving forward. I prefer it not springing out all the way.

AWD does not like to be turned sharply (all the way) from stopped it will sometimes buck. What happens if you do not crank it all the way and let off just a bit? I normally try to never crank a steering wheel full.

Touchscreen and charge port door are been replaced so those are back to normal. The car no longer makes the clicking when the wheels turned all the way but we’re not sure why. Also I’ve never had my previous awd cars make this sound when cutting it all the way. It was noticeable in parking lots/garages.

Another update: after building the special rig (they built it incorrectly), they started taking apart the car. Which resulted in some warnings in the app. They got stuck where the HVB wouldn't discharge, per instructions. After trying 10 times, they've reached out to Ford Engineering to get a solution. I hope they can get it fixed this week. So far, they've drained the brake fluids and disconnected the lines.

For those of you who haven't had any movement in your repair, see if my issue is similar to yours. If so, you may be able to guide the dealership to get the right part and work with Ford Engineering on the fix. I think most of the time spent has been around trying to get guidance from Ford on the correct fix. The actual fix requires taking apart the car, but seems reasonable. For my dealership, this seems to be the second Mach-E they're fixing with the same problem.

I have one Mach-E and the same problem with the "Stop Safely Now" message. Towed it to the dealership. They reprogrammed the car, charged up the 12v, and things seemed to be fine.

A week later, it happened again. It got towed back to the dealership and is sitting there now. After some investigation, the tech is now waiting on Ford Engineering. The service advisor says that it's possible the entire HVB pack will need to be replaced.

I'm thankful that my dealer has had good customer service so far and I'm in a rental car. But my wife and I are disappointed.

Before this, I had a 1st year Chevy Bolt and had no issues for four years. So maybe this car is too fancy and the computer systems more complex than Ford can handle right now.

Update: Got the Mach-E back!

They were ultimately able to de-energize the HVB and then remove it from the chassis. Later, they thought the LVB was fried, but was ultimately able to charge it and it was holding its charge. They're still ordering a new one for me and I'll get that installed once it comes in (on national backorder right now).

The shorthand on the paperwork is tough to interpret, so I'll leave it here for others to explain what was done.

I'll let everyone know if it indeed solved my issue, but I hope that this at least helps anyone that has similar problems to mine.

Update; today, March 18th, The Red First Edition has yet again come down with the 'I don't wan't to work today' disease (luckily in the garage this time and not on top of a mountain in 10 degree weather). Wasn't able to troubleshoot as I had to go to work so I took Boo. Currently waiting to hear back from @Ford Motor Company and Ford of Kirkland for further action. Will keep you all posted.

Update on Apollo: Got it back from the dealer today, sounds like a module was draining the 12V battery so everything possible was updated and seems to be good now. Have to go back next month to do the glass recalls as they're backordered but as of now we're back in business. If it happens again though I think it might be the last straw for me. I love this car but if it's going to be strand me in blizzards and keep me from going to work without warning, I'll need to get a car I can actually trust.
