Paint around trunk chipping?

Noticing paint starting to chip away around the truck line. Nothing I can think of that could have caused this, it’s on both sides

anyone else seen this? Any recommendations?

It’s likely from loading and unloading things from the trunk. You would probably be a good candidate for a bumper protector. @AOSK is working on it.

There‘s a reason that bumper protectors have existed for cars for decades. I don’t think it‘s because they’re all flawed.

Have you ever driven a wagon or a hatchback… or anything with a lift gate?

The worst part is that’s a very difficult spot to touch up with paint.

Looks like you have the forks too low, when loading the pallets.

Happened on mine within two months of purchase. My fault for not being more careful loading and unloading. I got the rear bumper guard. Had a professional touch up the paint and do the install. Good ever since going on 10 months.
