Calling up 1800-235-2352 to track my car doesnt work. Looks like CX is not tracking my car. Keep us posted on your progress please, and I can use that to infer where my car is at.
Oh I'm not gonna post every so often today when I've scratched this itch and called for an update, but as of 6pm ET, I passed through Panhandle, TX. Made a lot of progress today, 400+ miles it seems so far.

Always! I have a backup GTPE going on the line with another dealer for week of Oct 25 should my first one be "misplaced"....

Oh I'm not gonna post every so often today when I've scratched this itch and called for an update, but as of 6pm ET, I passed through Panhandle, TX. Made a lot of progress today, 400+ miles it seems so far.
The circle is complete, my car has gone from Mexico, and now it's in Texico, New Mexico as of 8pm PT....

You're approx 500 miles from Winslow, AZ and the train carrying my car took 26 hours to cover that distance. Don't think yours will take that long.

I'm hoping for an epic weekend, although how long it takes for them to extract and deliver the car to the dealer is another question... more likely this is looking like early next week

Stopped by the dealer today to request a VVR and they happily complied. Looks like my car actually did arrive in Kansas City on the 8th as the palsapp site reported. Location was listed as Ramp 69, Regina, SK (what's SK?). On the 10th it was received by Norfolk Southern, Ramp 6P in Kansas City. As of yesterday (the 11th), it was shipped by Union Pacific Railroad, location given as Ramp 15, Kansas City.

Not sure why Norfolk Southern ever got involved, but I'm relieved to see that it's now on a Union Pacific train. Does anyone know of a way to track on Union Pacific if you have the Railcar #?

For UP I called 1-800-877-5123, and you can go through the menu.
Select English or espanol.
Then say "trace" when it asks what you want to do.
Number of pieces "1".
And then finally say the full car number (mine was TTGX953141). For that last part, I interrupted the prompter and said it quickly. If you wait too long or say it slowly it wouldn't work well. Took me two or three tries to get the cadence down correctly.

It will ask you if you want a fax, and I just said no. I tried to fax it once but it didn't go through with my fax number.

Yeah, I could actually track the status of my car using the CSX phone number, but it was an old status from August. It just said unloaded at destination and never had anything new. So I figure it must have been on a different line then.

As soon as I swapped to calling UP it started having changes daily. I'm pretty sure my car was unloaded in Arlington since I'm waiting for it down here in Austin and the train is now in Arkansas... Or maybe it's just doing a little tour before it makes it to me in the end.

We'll see!

I can get BNSF updates with the railcar number by calling:

800-235-2352 and at the prompts doing:
Press 1
Say BNSF
Say Rail car number, in my case 314344
Say Done
Listen to status update
