I just got an update from my dealer that says mine is currently in Decatur, IL. Not sure what that means or how that relates to anything discussed - but I'm glad it's moving somewhere. Final Destination is Baltimore.

My car went via BNSF from the Argentine Ramp to the port in San Diego in 7 days. It's fairly quick. UP and CSX are also fairly fast to that point. Since I wasn't picking the car up in California, I have no idea as to the wait before it's trucked to the dealer though. In retrospect, I'd preferred to have picked the MME up in the SFO bay area, visited some family and friends in the area, driven it to my folks in Idaho then back to a port for shipment home. If we actually convert the Lightning reservation to an order that's what I'll do (the rez is with an SFO Bay area dealer).

So my rail status wasn't inaccurate. My car sat in Nowheresville, Kansas in a rail siding for 6 days. This morning it is moving though finally according to the phone system. Hopefully out here in about 6 days more.....

Shipped 9/21, still no updates in Palsapp. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since shipping.

20 days from ship on 9/21 and nothing. Pending status. I will keep waiting!!!???

I had a mid sept ship date. Just got a call from the dealer, GTPE to be delivered to them today (PA). Palsapp only shows being delivered to KC on 9/23 and transferred to Norfolk Southern with no other updates. So I wouldn't put too much faith in that tracker beyond KC.

This is a very strange thing. And it is with most of those sent on 9/21. An explanation by @Ford Motor Company would be good.

We're definitely on the same train. I just called my dealer and he told me my car is in the exact same place

We were on the same train up from Mexico (same ship date) and still no info in palsapp.....

To be fair, my info in palsapp hasn't changed either. This newest information was only gained from the VVR that my dealer looked at

My dealer sends me VVR's on Friday. As of 10/8, there was no change from the info when it shipped from Mexico.

I spoke with my dealer on Thursday last week and they indicated they couldn't see anything beyond what I was seeing. I dind't explicitly ask for the VVR, but they do offer insight whenver I call them. At this point, they are as in the dark as I am.

Did the railcar number change from the car that came from Mexico?
