Coming upto 4 years and just don’t get this 12V paranoia.
I wonder if the fact that you drive such a high mileage every week keeps the 12V in tip top condition whereas those that drive just a few thousand miles a year are more likely to have 12V battery issues?

There are too many 12v Mach-E failures, way more than the Lightning.
Mach-Es have been around almost 2 years longer than Lightnings. Couple that with the fact that the first Machs had crappy 12V BMS software - supposedly improved by updates.

12V dying in the Lightning is also not nearly as big of a deal as the Mach-E. Theres a mechanical key to open the door even if 12V is dead, so you can just keep a jump pack in the cab or even in the frunk and be on your way. No different than an ICE vehicle.

If it dies in the Mach-E you’ll need to call someone or hope someone nearby has a jump pack or jumper cables. And also hope it’s dead enough to allow the jump leads to pop the frunk instead of being in the weird limbo state of too dead to unlock the doors but not dead enough to allow the frunk pop.

My car will be parked in the garage and not driven for 4 weeks. Is there anything special that I should be doing to the car while it is parked?

Should I leave it plugged in? Should I charge it and unplug it? Something else?
All the best,
David
My car goes for a month without being driven all the time. Don’t worry about it.

If you have automatic OTA updates turned on you may want to turn this feature off when parked for an extended period of time.
A failed Gateway Module OTA bricked my Lightning and killed the 12V battery.
For what it's worth, my Wife's Mach-E GT PE doesn't get driven in the winter. I leave the charger connected and it starts right up in the spring.
And Ford's Roadside Assistance is a joke. When my Lightning bricked I waited four hours for a tow that never came. Called a local tow company. Said they'd be there in 30 minutes and showed up in 20. I'm still waiting for Ford to reimburse me for the $125.00 I paid.

Have to admit, I’d have left HVBSoC at 80%, left it unplugged, parked it, locked it, forgot about it until I got back but if maker says 50% then 50% is what it should be.

Battery management system should care for the 12V battery if it needs any care while you’re away.
Lets remember that ford information is for 30 days plus, not less then 30 days. My upcoming travels will keep me away for 21 days. I will leave it plugged in at 80% and do nothing else. It will sleep but will wake up upon physical re-entry.

Charge the HVB to 75%, unplug it, inflate the tires to 43,5 psi (app. 3 bar), otherwise you get square tires and leave the frunk opened if it is possible . Never mind to leave the car back. Dont start the app too often as this will drain the LVB. If you do all of this, even 3 months or more won't be a problem

Ok it's finally time going on vacation for a month. Last week went to get my tires rotated and get the 12V battery checked my results +see attached.

I drive the car three consecutive days a week (m-w) and it's stored at my work garage till the following Monday. I make sure I run the car no less than 30 min using the auto power down if need be. I have been doing this the past 1 -1/2 years.

Also I run down the SOC of the HV to 30 then I charge around to 80 every two weeks. So my plan is to time it right and charge to 80 before I leave on vacation to hopefully top of the 12V. Should I go lower though? Run it down to 20 then go to 60? Saw the manual screenshot that says leave it at 50.

I'm prepared. Since the garage is gated and there are periodic security walks. I leave the doors unlocked.

So wish me luck. I am prepared of the battery dies. I have this is jump starter-see attached. I leave the doors unlocked.

I like reading to keep the tires inflated at 43.psi. will do that makes total sense.

I have never tried popping the plastic off to get to the battery. So that's going to be interesting.

I am happy to report that my car started. Tomorrow would be 4 weeks to the day since I went on vacation. Car parked in work garage. I turned everything off I think that would drain battery like, WIFI, auto updates, Bluetooth and even turned off motion sensor. What else? I left the door unlocked just like I said I would in case the battery went dead. I came in with my jump starter ready to use and thinking about the how to videos i watched on taking off the cover to get to the battery. The battery is older than three years now. I also loaded up the PSI on the tires and deflated them to spec as the car was running.
