Brought it to the dealer for the recall and they're checking the handbrake issue. So far they think it might be transmission related which is very possible. Will keep you guys updated.

Any chance there is a TSB for this so I can give it to my dealer. I don't want him to start taking things apart unnecessarily. I have to call him tomorrow.

Can’t he just call the engineer hotline? Like that’s what it’s there for.

Ya im going to have to go there this morning to explain. Im pretty sure its the update that says "we've improved your braking blah blah blah..." that broke the automatic braking system aids, Hill start, Auto-hold and maybe even the emergency braking and the car is putting the hand brake on since it detects an issue with these systems as a safety.

Well that didn't go as expected problem apparently was due to the rear passenger door latch, BUT BUT as the mechanic was test driving the car somebody backed up and hit the front of the car. Im not angry, im just sick to my stomach. I dont want to see the car.

Damage wasn't as bad as i thought. It looks worse because of the PPF. My main concern is the headlight considering everything i read over the weekend about the headlight shortage.

Thanks, went to get some things from the car, spoke to the service guy and they apparently ordered anf received everything but as expected the headlight is not available.
