You totally misunderstood my point.

A car that sounds "mean" is like a dog that sounds "mean". That doesn't mean that they are mean per se but the senses that one feels when they hear it are somewhat similar.

I am sure you go to the Movies. Now most action made movies are full of simulated sound to allow oneself to immerse into the senses of actually being there.

The same can be said with a simulated car sound. If the senses that one hears are familiar, then who gives a rats ass if it is simulated or real. It still gives you that rush of going fast and that is a cool feeling.

Why do some cars have decals on them (Trans Am)? Does that make them go faster? I would guess not but they look cool.

Same concept but with a different sense (one sight and one sound)

I was just sitting on my back porch watching the sun go down, about a half mile away is a highway, some guy with his jacked up picimup truck and straight pipes was going wide open, I could hear him for 20 minutes. It made me think, He's just trying to say something about himself, like that Dennis Leary song!

I was watching the fastest human on Earth (currently) win the 100 meter dash tonight at the Olympics.

I felt compelled to get into my MME and go real fast with no noise but I just wasn't feelin' it.

I am sure you watched Top Gun with no sound. It is so much better. ?

Not really, that would be like trying to make it something it isn't. Kind of like putting an exhaust speaker on an electric car, now if that speaker could make a fart sound, gimmy one of those! That would be awesome for people that are crossing the street in front of you. And top gun, never made it all the way through that movie, now collateral that's more like it.

Thanks for the advice but we can´t do that kind of products, we are a carbon factory. If you think gas cars will die i have many doubts. BTW you realize that this is from Borla company not from mine. Wish was would mean a lot. About your car in your profile i mean the car is beeing pulled by a horse, i was just kidding. About jack pads i am curious, i have ones too that i never user, what in your opinion that product can be better?

EV's are like watching a Symphony and an ICE is like going to a Rock Concert.

There are days I like to listen to slow music and there are days I like heavy metal. While I agree that if my car made noise like that most of the time, it would be annoying. I would however like to smash the pedal and hear the roar of power even though it is a simulated sound...................like most Rock Bands with synthesizers. Brings you back to the "old days".

Reminds me of an idea I had a while back that it would be awesome if they put the GT500 motor in our body style.

Based on the reactions here, I was the only person who thought that idea was good.

I definitely would have bought that car.
