I’d pass on it. Take your car to a reputable detailer. Have them clean, use fallout/iron remover, very light polish and follow that up with a ceramic coat on the exterior or a good high quality sealant and wax if you e joy the waxing process. There are a variety of uv block products for the interior as well. It’ll be money better spent in my opinion.

I live in Hawaii and my 3 coat Ceramic Pro professional applied coating didn’t cost that much.

Even if that is a professional coating (like Ceramic Pro) looks like the dealer is adding at least $1K on top of what it should be costing. As has been mentioned above, if you want a good ceramic coating, take it to a professional detailer that has been factory trained in this process.

That is ridiculous. Run away from that. It’s likely a glorified wax that needs reallocation every year.

I too would suggest Ceramic Pro. Very happy with it. Lifetime warranty was about $1800

The dealer tried to slip this in on the car I ordered when I was taking delivery. They said all their customers wanted it. I told them to drop the charge or I'd walk away and get my deposit back. They dropped the charge.

I have it. It was on the car already, then I had them remove the charge from the price because I didn’t want it. Not like they are removing the coating….

Probably no different than other coating options.
