Same issue for me. I have deleted and added my phone 3 times now and it makes no difference. It’s driving me crazy having to make a call, hang up and redial. Sometimes even that doesn’t work.

Is anyone having issues making phone calls and Bluetooth calls with the new updated UI? Most of my calls fail and Bluetooth drops (says Bluetooth dropped) and then it reconnects. I have deleted the phone and re-added it.

Also my wife's phone fails the same way. It used to work flawlessly under the old update without the volume controlling the other features.
I have a 2022 F250 and a Galaxy S21 that is just over a year old. Every time I try to make a call, it switches from the radio to the call. Right after that, the radio comes back on, the call disappears, and then the call shows up with the radio still playing. I cannot hear the person I am calling in the truck or on my phone but the person I'm calling gets the call. I have to hang up and call a second time to use the phone with my truck. If someone calls me, the call will last about a minute before it drops the call.

I have disconnected my phone and reconnected it. I took the truck to the dealership and they did a master reset. I am still having the same problem. I connected my son's Iphone and it worked without any problems. I have had the SIM card replaced and still have the same problem. Anyone get anywhere with Ford?

Just started having this problem... I have 2 phones that are always connected.

Yesterday - had a ton of issues with static. Had to disconnect and reconnect to fix that.

Then, I was taking a call with microsoft teams via BT.... it kept connecting and disconnecting like every 10 seconds. SUPER weird.

Tried rebooting SYNC, didn't seem to make a difference.

I am having the same issue @Ford Motor Company , using Android auto wireless and then phone calls goes through but no sound, has to disconnect AA and connect only to Bluetooth to get it working. Which is pretty annoying
Same issue here! If anyone finds a solution, please share.

Also had the "drive mode unavailable" message happen to me once. Was in unbridled mode, saw message, and was switched to another mode. Was able to get back to unbridled a bit later, but didn't understand what happened or why.

If there is a fix, mine has been doing this for a while. Even got a new Samsung S23 phone hoping it would address the issue but no luck. It's so frustrating I can't make a call. Thanks! (KathyK)

Agreed, I am about 2/3s of the time my first call attempt has issues. I have to hang up and call back, then its fine

Nothing has worked for me so far. I reached out to @Ford Motor Company, who assigned me a rep, took it to the dealership twice. The dealer stated there are multiple cars with the same issue sold from the dealership, so it's an issue that Ford has to provide a solution for to the dealer.

So now my options are to switch to iPhone, or forget Android Auto and go old school.

I tried the calls using an iphone8 too, still very staticky and unclear. At this point the dealer has replaced the noise cancelling mic inside the car, yet to test it out

This is a large issue with Android Auto and Ford. I have a Mach E, a Bronco and a Loaner 2023 F150. All 3 vehicles do the same thing, dial out and Bluetooth drops, toggle to handset and back and Bluetooth works. I worked with Ford and the dealer on the Mach E and they couldn't find anything. I suspect a conflict with Android 13, Android Auto and Sync in the software and am hopeful Ford is addressing directly with Android. Really wish this was a better experience as it's currently unsafe to try toggling while driving.

Yes im having the same issue also. Android Auto was working perfectly for the longest time. I had the no sound on the phone call issue start about 4 weeks ago. More recently I started having trouble getting the phone to wirelessly connect to andriod auto. When it doesnt wirelessly connect, i have to go into android auto and clear the apps cache. Then it will wirelessly connect again. Its frustrating as Android Auto was working perfectly for so long.

I am having the same issue @Ford Motor Company . Phone calls goes through but lots of static and voice cuts in and out....have to disconnect and try again.

Samsung Note 20+ phone.

Somehow in the last two months google and / or Ford broke the Android auto experience. It was working perfectly before. @Ford Motor Company please work with Google and get this ironed out
