Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power

Bought the car in March. I’ve had this “powertrain malfunction/reduced power” alert pop up several times.

When I drove the car off the lot (private dealer), a full charge to 100% put my range at 234 miles. Once this notice came up, the range significantly decreased. My most recent full charge only put the range at 190. I took it to Ford, they kept her for a week and ended up telling me it was a simple software malfunction, that needed to be updated. When I got it back, it was back to normal. Full charge @ 234.
Welp, it’s been a week and it’s back to doing the same thing again. The notice popped up twice. Yesterday a full charge put me to 210, and it’s only a matter of time I feel like before it does it again.
I’m trying to avoid having to go back to the dealer again, and was wondering if anyone else experienced this or knows how to solve the issue?

Your range estimates look completely normal. But if you're still getting the powertrain errors, something's not right. Post your VIN in the FDRS thread and see if somebody with access to PTS can see what codes your car has.

Gear shift bug, do not try to turn the shifter out of park unless your foot is on the brake pedal.

What if I’m using one pedal mode? That’s what I’m usually in when I park, I rarely touch the brake.

That's fine, no problems going into park. The bug is when you try to shift out of park without pressing the brake first.
