Well, this is a complete mystery. My Settings menu has lost the predictive speed control option under Adaptive Cruise. I just took off my winter tires , and since they are slightly smaller in diameter than my Pirellis, they make the speedometer give a false speed. My predictive was set to + 18 which in a 80 k zone would mean I was doing 95, and we all know that we like to stay below the ticket or points limit. After the tires were changed, I went back to re set the predictive to +15 and it is no where to be found in the settings menu. There was a hotline sent to Ford about this issue, and the Tekkie asked if anyone else has this issue. Would some of you please check on your settings to make sure it is still available to you. It will be or not be in the drop down list under Driver Assistance/ Adaptive Cruise /(Predictive Speed Control which should then have a Tolerance scale) BTW, the Adaptive Cruise is still working and set to 18 +

For some reason I thought speed was determined by the radar (doppler). Am I confused? If true, wheel diameter would not affect accuracy of the speedometer.

I have a note to Ford on this as well. Mine disappeared after one of the recent updates. Nothing to do with your tires.

Now the only time I’ve ever seen this make a difference was in an ICE Mustang when I went from 18 inch to 20 inch wheels, the speedometer was way off and I had to get a handheld scanner to set the perimeters in the cars computer.

I was merely giving the reason how I found out about the missing setting, I know it has nothing to do with the tires

I'm also missing the slider to adjust the adaptive speed. To let Ford know I used the in-car feedback feature. Thanks for pointing this out, I wouldn't have noticed it was missing until I needed it.
