I just got an OTA Update for DC charging; did anybody else receive this update? It took only 11 minutes to download and update the car. What exactly does the update do? The Power Up update says it "tweaked" the charging module to improve reliability and performance. Does this have something to do with the HVJB connector problem?

What does the text say? You should be able to capture the update text off your FordPass app.

Basically what I posted above. "Improved DC Fast Charging. We know how important DC Fast Charging is to you so we've tweaked the charging module to improve reliability and performance." I just wanted to know: 1.) Did anybody else receive this Power up OTA Update and 2). Is it related to the HVJB connector problem?

I haven't seen anything. Are you in Early Access and did you have BlueCruise when you got your Mach-E or did you have to receive it via OTA?

Yes to EA Program and no to Blue Cruise when I got the car 4-15-2021. Blue Cruise was added by the dealer when they did other updates.

I hardly ever DC charge so it might be awhile. I'm just really curious if anybody else received this Power Up OTA Update and what exactly it is supposed to do.

Thank you for that bit of information. I sort of assumed with the DC charging causing the HVJB connectors to overheat this somehow changed how the battery DC fast charges.

What is the purpose of the OBCC? DC Fast Charging?
