I noticed that, too. With today's Ford email blast about the upcoming OTA updates for BC 1.3 on the horizon, I will be going back in and setting them again.

Mine failed because of the stupid headlamp switch that's defective. I had to go into the car and turn the knob to get it to get out of it's funk. Yet Ford refuses to replace my headlamp switch...

Have you tried a different dealer? The dealer I bought from said no to me to replace my IPC, I tried a different dealer and eventually they authorized it. This was before the service bulletin or whatever it's called came out for the buzzing noise.

This same dealer also replaced my headlamp switch because I said it has stayed on a couple of times on its own.

They even surprised me with the parking issue fix which I didn't know about, didn't even ask me, just did it.

Some dealers look for reasons to decline work, others seem to want to find as many things as they can get to work on and so long as it's a warranty claim, no objection on my end.

I have never used it, but per posts by @Mach-Lee Recurrent spams the Ford servers and as a result may cause your Ford account to be locked. Unlocking your Ford account is a PIA, but it happened to me. I was using Tronity.

I'm talking about the software update schedule that is set in the car.

Yeah the problem is that I was working with Corporate to do some things to the car. They asked me what dealership, I picked one and I'm kinda stuck with that one. I could tell them to use another one, but it was there because they didn't do some things correctly, which obviously they needed to fix. So, I didn't want to take it to one, then take it to another on the other side of the city. I don't have that much free time.

This morning I get in after conditioning had completed. Clicked the FM button and the last station I had selected started playing BUT all my presets had disappeared.

I reset them and will see if it happens again. No OTA update either. The last one I got was in the title of this thread.

Oh, but my check for OTA updates returned. Confused yet? I sure am.?

FYI - @Ford Motor Company, we just got this update on 8/19 and now every single time we go for a drive, the Sound settings (Treble, Bass, Midrange) will reset to default and Speed Volume always defaults to medium even though we turn it off.

How am I just getting this ? Imagine my surprise looking at the dates of the posts and seeing AUGUST.
Oh well.
Anyone else getting a blank white screen where radio/Sirius was ? If I hit the other tiles it eventually returns . It's weird because I have the "dark" setting for the touch pad . Only the middle of the screen is white upon startup .

A lot of owners received this update back in August/September when it was pushed for the first time. I received it for the second time today and have not noticed any issues with the display while using the radio app I do not use dark mode though.

If it makes you feel better, this is the last update I got (back early august) and nothing since.

Have you gotten any of the 5.1 to 6.13 updates? I have not

Yes I have . Seems like Ford is pushing em out like a year end sale. Ive received 4-5 since the start of December .Sitting on 6.6 I believe .
I don't want to be the guy that asks the stupid questions like " is the appliance plugged in " BUT is wifi and auto updates enabled ?
If so maybe reach out to one of the crew here to check yer VIN and see what's the issue .

Done and tried all the things including contacting Ford. Turned things off and on, charged 12v multiple times. Unplugged battery. Turned off connectivity and reconnected PAAK etc.

Tried auto updates off, on, changed time of day yada yada.

People checked the VIN and do see plenty of updates available. Ford team sees the same thing I do (last update Aug 7 installed successfully).

All that’s left is waiting or trip to the dealer. Hoping the recall parts show up soon so I can just do it altogether.

That and in terms of updates, even though I’m a dozen behind, I’m not missing any features……..yet.
