My 2021 First Edition just updated today. It turned on propulsion sounds. And turn the radio to AM static but all my presets are the same.

This is the only update that has ever messed up my presets. Such irony.

Ironically, it was the first update I got that didn’t mess with the presets!

Consistency of experience. An admirable goal.

The effect of OTAs on presets has always been inconsistent. Since the update to fix that had to be applied in order to fix it, it should be no surprise that its update would also do this. Think about it - the fix isn’t in place until after this is installed.

I clearly am completely dependent on CarPlay... because I have no idea what my radio and SiriusXM presets are or if they've ever been affected. ?

I was freaking out this morning at the terrible noise my car made when accelerating. Took me 5 minutes to realize I got an update overnight and went to see if propulsion sounds were on.

Not only did it turn on propulsion sound, but also turned auto update back on. Thanks for the charging limit head’s up. I’ll check that later today.

This installed yesterday after work. It overwrote my SXM preset (yes, just the one) and turned on the propulsion sounds. The radio sounds different, so I have to see if it messed with my sound settings. No issue with a guest profile. Overnight, my charging was to the correct level. ?‍?

Similar experience this morning, but I knew that I got the update yesterday. On the first acceleration, I heard a weird noise behind me and thought that some rusty bucket is racing me...

2021 First Edition just got it today. Haven't checked for display randomization, but it was on the last station I was listening to when I checked to make sure the update worked. The tiles were all generic with no station information. Will check placement later.

21 GTPE Just got this and trash update turned on propulsion sound messed up all my presets fm/am and my sirus presets. It’s official Ford has the dumbest engineers programming this car.

oh, and now I get to drive mode, not available and I can’t click on any of the drive modes until I back out and come back in. I know it’s going to engage since I does regen a little compared to very little with whisper.
