I have a 48 Amp EVSE. And you are correct, it is on a 60 Amp circuit.

After I posted that I realized that I started the car in accessory mode to get the update screen to open. So it could be the power draw was due to me starting the car and not due to the update. Regardless, I was plugged in and the update was successful.

Final update from me on this one:

I did some research on this forum and YouTube yesterday. I wondered if when they replaced my 12V a few months back if they didn't reset the BMS. I reset the BMS yesterday and went to a concert last night. When I got home I re-scheduled the update for an hour earlier and to my surprise it finally installed. I don't know if the BMS thing is a coincidence but just glad it worked.

It did in fact erase all my Sirius pre-sets lol. Anyways, thanks for all the help on here.

So weird that an OTA update has never reset my radio presets. It doesn't remember the station I was last listening to, but all my presets are still there. This one was the same. The car came on with AM radio static but I just selected one of the presets and it was fine.

I reset the BMS yesterday... it finally installed. I don't know if the BMS thing is a coincidence but just glad it worked.

Back in June 2023 I had 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2 fail to install 8 times. I then did the LVB learned values reset procedure, and the the next attempt to update succeeded. So, I don't think it was just a coincidence. I'm on my factory original LVB, BTW.

We never use the radio, but It would be nice if when it doesn't connect to a phone it defaults to the last preset or station you had tuned, not the bottom of the AM band that comes up as a startling crackling static when you least expect it.

Got this today. Presets were kept but current station not. Ask on exit for motion sensors was reset to On.

BTW - I confirmed it still defaults to the guest profile when remote starting. I haven't had the other guest profile bug occur recently, so not sure if that is still around. I suspect it is.

I got this today. '22 GT (non performance) EA. I don't drive a lot, so of course it failed. I charged the 12v (thanks to the easy assess charge holes, its so easy). Charged to 97% and then it installed just fine. It did not mess up my preset radio stations.

Totally messed up my presets (for XM), also defaulted to an AM station with static.

So ironic that the only purpose was to NOT mess up the presets and that’s all it did.

None of these XM stations were ever in my presets. Sinatra and Buffet twice? Lol
