Profile not loading and cannot select

So maybe half the time, the profile in the car defaults to "guest". It just shows the six blocks in the top circle. My profile comes up when I select "other profiles", but I cannot get it to load. I press it, it beeps, but nothing happens. Has anyone else seen this? I have a 21 job one Premium. Everything still works, but it is not my profile.

I got tired of it switching on me, also very dangerous when vehicle doesn't act the way you are expecting (1-pedal, lane-assist, adaptive cruise, etc...). So I turned off the profiles.
You can usually temporarily fix by creating new profile, then it will allow you to switch to yours again.

It appears one of the updates rendered Profiles useless. Not sure why Ford did that but there are many of us in your same situation.

Been living with this behavior for about 2 months now, since the OTA update that broke Profiles. Not a word from Ford regarding a fix.

Rather than turning profiles off, my workaround was to change the guest profile to the same settings as my main profile.

That wouldn't work for me, sometimes it goes to guest, other time is chooses my wife's profile. Even if I am the only one in the vehicle with both my phone and my fob assigned to my profile.

Hmm, that’s different. Mine only goes between my profile and guest, never my wife’s.

Delete your wife maybe? How often does she drive and want settings other than the memory seats?

The memory seats will still be there for her.

Yes, our 21 Premium E4 does that also. Not every time, but when it does the screen is locked and it takes a couple of start cycles to reset. Even the radio select buttons lock up. Going in Monday for this and some other E glitches.

I had this happen once. Creating a new profile, switching to it, and then deleting the new profile fixed it for me. It's so stupid.
