It’s infinite blue, has the OG frunk, and kick to open trunk. It’s coming with me. ;)

Well …

it’s not for lack of desire. We have 4 legged commitments here (barn cats). We are still casually looking for property in central Oregon and in the East Bay (the LaMorinda area). But it’s not likely to happen soon.

On a more practical front: shipping an EV eastbound from here is now officially a goat rope. Matson no longer ships EVs or PHEVs at all. The remaining company only accepts cars for eastbound shipments in Honolulu. So that means a different company , Young Brothers, to barge the car to Honolulu, then an airline flight, and cab fare to move the car more or less 1/2 a block to Pasha. Pasha requires the batteries be 30% or less soc and the cars only go to San Diego. Plus prices are no much higher due to demand and monopoly status. So it’s not as simple as the olden days (Prior to June 2025).

Pasha has the EV fire fighting equipment needed in their car RORO ship. They can puncture the batteries from beneath the car if needed and inject water that way, and use water for fire suppression on PHEVs or BEVs.
