Serious ICE Range Anxiety

So, I got into my Jeep today to go to the airport (definitely don’t wanna leave the MME in the airport garage if not necessary) and I had just shy of half a tank of gas. I live about 24 miles to the airport. We don’t drive the Jeep much, only to take the dog on trail runs or most recently to pull out a giant bush from our front yard.
The Jeep GOM said I had only 47 miles of range on almost half a tank of gs. I panicked and said what if I don’t make it cause it’s windy or when I get off my flight late Thursday night I’m going to have to find a poorly lit gas station before going home!
But, alas the GOM went up to 127 miles by the time I got to the airport (no dealer provided driving history reset needed!) and all was ok because well it’s an ICE and no one pays attention to the GOM.

I don’t really have any range anxiety with my K/5, but that’s because it has a seriously oversized battery. Uh, gas tank. ?? What I do have is wallet anxiety. 40 gallons of go-juice isn’t exactly wallet-friendly. ??

Our Jeep only gets 28-30 miles on a full charge. If it didn't also have a 2.0T ICE then we would have serious range anxiety too.

You have two GOM then! One for the battery and one for the gas. That’s twice the fun and twice the anxiety. How do you sleep at night or go on any road trips?!
