Always thought that all I would need for range is that amount of miles I feel comfortable driving in a day. That value is close to your display.

PS. Didi you put D batteries in it instead of the AAA's?

12,000 miles range and I won't have range anxiety and can do the 11,700 mile Home, to Los Angeles, to Seattle, to Chicago, to Bangor, to Cheyenne, to Denver, to Washington DC, to Miami trip I have never wanted to do.
