Rear license plate bracket?

Instead of just using the silly screw in plastic design, has anyone mounted a rear license plate bracket which you can mount the plate onto?

Right. The OP is asking about one that can be mounted and then the plate mounts to it. My A4 has a bracket that sticks onto the car. Then the plate mounts to the bracket.

No. It wraps around the license plate and then you screw it into the car like you normally would
