Got the car back early from Chapman, only took 2 days. Don't see any issues, only hiccup was with the rental car. Was supposed to get one for two days but when I was dropped off at enterprise Wednesday morning they said they didn't actually have any cars and wouldn't have one available until the afternoon. I ended up just passing entirely since I didn't really need it. I would suggest calling ahead before getting dropped off to make sure a car is available if you are getting a rental to avoid a wasted trip
I just got mine back today. On Monday, when I dropped it off at Chapman, had the same BS from Enterprise, but I had the service advisor call Enterprise to see if the rental was available. They said it would be available later that day and they would come and pick me up from home. Of course, that never happened.

In addition to glass recalls they also replaced the overhead console (the sunglasses holder broke and wouldn't close), CSP21P22, and LVB was replaced. During my X-Mas trip to LA, my sister's idiot dogs must have tripped the rear hatch and it stayed open all night. The next day I lost all audio and the day after, the navigation system went pear shaped. I reset the battery by disconnecting and reconnecting it. Everything seemed fine for the last 2 months, but I asked them to check it anyway, and they found that the battery was faulty. They also decided to charge the car to 100%.

When I picked up the car, I put it in reverse and was immediately presented with "Reverse Brake Assist Not Available See Manual" message and walk away lock wasn't working. I made an appointment for Saturday to have these looked at, but when I got home both issues disappeared.

Also when I got home, I installed Power-Up 2.4.1 (Horn & Lights). Don't know why, since I had a working Horn & Lights button since I got the car last March.

After more than two months of repeated, failed attempts to schedule at Chapman, I gave up on them and scheduled through San Tan.

San Tan scheduled me for roughly seven weeks out, because they are slammed on the service side. Though if I wanted to skip the CSP portion and only do glass repairs, they could have gotten it done later in the same week that I'd originally called.

That was seven weeks ago... Dropped the vehicle off today with Lincoln Powers, the glass manager there. He took care of the glass recalls and coordinated the CSP 21P22 software updates.

I chipped in $19.95 worth of FordPass Rewards points for tire rotations, and... picked up my vehicle later this same day! That's right -- about two thirds of a (busy) day, with some evidence here:

Lincoln and honestly the whole team there did a great job as best as I can tell. Car looks untouched other than blue tape on the windshield and the strong odor of the adhesives... Oh and 1PD was turned off. ?

My rental was a 2020 Escape with about 22k miles and a transmission that reminded me of my Fiesta -- BEFORE the faulty Fiesta tranny was properly fixed. Other than harsh and very delayed shifting, the Escape offered a nice smooth ride free from any of the Mach-E Bouncies™.

If you're still considering what dealer to work with for warranty repairs, I'd offer you Lincoln Powers (glass manager) and Robert Pence (service advisor) at San Tan Ford as my recommendation.

Thanks so much for sharing this! I read it this morning and drove over to San Tan. I spoke with Lincoln. My MME is schedule for the glass recalls, software update and 10k service. Rental car also scheduled. I will share my experience when it is all done. Lincoln was extremely knowledgeable and eager to help.

Just picked up MME from San Tan Ford. Everything looks like it did when I dropped it off. Lincoln and the team did a great job! When I dropped off it off at 7 am, I was in and out in 15 minutes with the rental Explorer. It was ready at 4 pm as promised. I had the two glass recalls, software update and 10k mile service done. I also learned that they have a large supply of windshields if your MME every needs one replaced.

San Tan told me they didn't need to remove the roof glass. They just put foam in some gap and pumped urethane sealer into the area. Some black urethane or sealer is on headliner now. Minor but sloppy, and dirty hand and foot prints in various areas. Rear headliner around radio antenna was dangling from ceiling when picked up. Magnets hold it in place so I snapped it back in place and left.

My roof had to be replaced a few months earlier due to crack, rock hit. Everything is the other glass guys fault, and the glass guy says dealer is not being wholly honest.

I feel both parties have tried to be helpful but I rather put the two in a room and let them figure it out. Glass installer does need to replace the rail on driver side they broke.

Trying to get horrible misaligned rear hatch resolved. Bad since delivery, but no other Mach E's could be found to compare much of last year. Later visits to Chapman and San Tan, they said Ford indicates it is in specs.

So most recently we look at the GT on the floor, perfectly aligned rear hatch to roof trim, antenna area and glass. Now they tell me I can't compare the GT trim and hatch alignment to my Premium AWD EX because, well... I don't have a GT and they are very different cars. ?. Uh, same body, same panels, hatch, etc. If they are nonsensical long enough they know we will just go away.

I used to love having expert work done, at a premium price, at the dealer. Warranty work is not free, I paid for it in the price of the new car! It's disappointing how far service levels and expertise have slipped.

My dealer is Robert Horne Ford in Apache Junction. So far they have been great (with one funny story of the service manager asking me to "open the hood" as part of his check-in process for a software update, then becoming embarrassed when he realized it was a frunk.) I am trying to schedule the glass recall service now and will report back in this thread when done.

I called San Tan Ford regard the Blue Cruise update TSBs 22-2117 and 22-2109. My service advisor Tim Resnick was very upfront that since this has just rolled out that it could potentially take a full day. Rental car is available for a one day rental. He advised me to drop off early so they could have the full day. So I am scheduled for Monday 4/11. I will update once I get it back!

San Tan Ford in Gilbert, AZ nailed it! I dropped my MME off at 7 am sharp and was in my rental car by 7:10 am. Tim Resnick my service advisor provided updates via texts throughout the day. I got a call at 515 pm announcing my MME officially has Blue Cruse!!! Mine was their only second to install the TSB 22-2117 and 22-2109. The first one was not successful. Tim said they might have found the error with the first attempt. Tim said they the challenge they had today was the APIM was showing updated but it really wasn’t. They did call Ford for some help. I pick my MME tomorrow morning!!

I dropped off my car at 7:00 as well. They had to do the glass recall though. What color is your car? I didn't see you there? We could've said hello.

Cool. Mine is a First Edition. I asked for a special order color in IB but they said "no can do". I liked Rapid Red and Grabber Blue so much that I couldn't decide so I went with Carbonized Grey. :)

Mine isn't ready yet. They were probably busy working on your car. Which is fine by me of course. Glad they got you taken care of. I am next! :)

I spoke with Tim this morning and they are working on my car now. He sounds hopeful for the same success enjoyed with your car. It is interesting to note that you received the FordPass message about BlueCruise being active just after they resolved the APIM issue.

In my case, I had an old cell phone that still has PaaK and FordPass enabled (but no cellular service). I unlocked the phone, connected it to San Tan's WiFi and gave it to them along with the key fob. This might help them test out the 21B36 (PaaK update) and it might allow them to see the "BlueCruise is available" message in FordPass. I really don't know if that will help them or not but hopefully it won't hurt things any. 🤔
