I will continue reading but this is exactly my problem! I can charge for free at work (I.e. save about $50/mo). I need a mobile charger. I can’t install a home charger in the work parking lot or decide I get my own parking space. There’s already enough hell that EVers get because they allow us to charge for free. My charger started to give me faults this week and is incredibly slow or stops midday. First world problem, but I would prefer to not have to go walk 10 minutes round trip to unplug and plug in multiple times a day. I need a better option once I’ve exhausted my 3 year warranty or I get annoyed.I see no need whatsoever to replace the supplied Ford charging cable for travel. It works fine... and lives under the floor in the back of the car. Keep in mind that when I travel, I charge at DCFC or destination chargers... both have cables. If I ever need to find an outlet, the Ford charger is fine.
What problem are you solving for?
Do you think they put a limit on how many new FMCs I can get under warranty? Lol ?
