PLEASE add a "Charge Immediately" button on the main screen that comes available when you park the car. One button. Not a series of button presses and scrolling to get to the darn thing. My 2013 Rav 4 EV had this. Shut the car off and the charge screen popped up for like 30 sec.

ALSO

PLEASE
have the Range light up someplace when you open the door, like on a regular car, the Odometer does. It is a pain to get in, start the car, and wait for it to see if you need to plug the thing in. Again, My 2013 Rav4 EV had this.

My wife drives our RAV4 EV and my nightly routine is to open her door, check the state of charge, and plug in if needed. Pretty handy feature. On the other hand, the Mach E has an app, which is almost as easy as opening the door.
My Chevy Bolt had a cool “Charge Now” feature. If you plug in, unplug and plug in again, it would start charging, which in some ways is easier than pressing a button on the car display.

Actually, the Ford app seems like a pretty good solution to me.

My issue with the new Ford app is it's extremely unclear what the start button does until you've actually used it. Used to be a "charge to 100%" button until they changed it in the redesign.

I agree. "Start" is not intuitive at all. It is also not intuitive how to force the car to charge beyond your target charge level while the car is actively charging. Honestly, it's a mess.

If you hit the "Start" button, will it charge past the pre-set limit? Or does it just start charging to set limit with out waiting?

Exactly. Open the door and the GOM lights up. No button pushing.
That Bolt feature seems pretty cool. Easy too.
The charge now button doesn't pop up on the screen when you shut the car off like the Rav.

Just look at Ford Pass on your phone ?‍♂
That means my wife has to take the phone out of her purse, open it, open the app, wait and then it may update, may not.

I might have to change from my other Ford Vehicle.
The point is the Rav was easy. Shut the car off. push the button that pops up, if you need to.,
No dicking around with an App. Sick of phone apps for everything.

Exactly.

My wife's RAV4 PHEV has the same feature. Plug in in once, watch the green light blink, unplug and plug in, green light goes solid.
