I can attest to this living in Boise. I drove 50 miles to the Oregon border to test my Lectron adapter. Only one Tesla station in Idaho that I can use and its 150 miles the other direction.

Good to know. I'm in Meridian with Order # FAE:90019183 and a ship date of July 2024. Not planning any trips in my MME in the immediate future so not a huge deal.

FWIW I just talked to someone on the Accessories team to change my shipping address for the adapter. Before submitting the change, they checked the manifest just to ensure it hadn't already shipped and said based on my order numbers (mid-8000s) it was expected to ship in ~3 weeks. Take it with a grain of salt, obviously, but that's another data point.

Based on other currently shipping/received orders, that's roughly 2000/week if accurate.

Received #1379 today. Just tried it at 12 station supercharger. Nobody there thank goodness because the curb is to high for me to pull straight in. Cable couldn’t reach. Took two stalls sideways. Then I got charging error. So I pulled up now I have darn near three stalls. Connected with rotating white lights which after about 10 seconds turned blue. Works fine. Pretty simple connection. 3 Kws $1.77. Of course 4 Tesla's pull in while I am doing all this. I split, it works, I will use it as I need to when necessary but I do see an issue with those short cables. I am sure it will get resolved.

I’m wondering … since only Ford and Rivian can use the adapter and GM and others are all on hold, if that might translate into Ford being able to get a larger allocation (at least until other car companies get onboarded). I thought I read that the other companies are likely delayed until the fall.

I think I saw one article that mentioned GM being delay. But Insideevs spoke to GM after that story came out and GM said that they’re not delayed. The GM rep said that Spring technically ends on June 30, so that means that they’re still within the stated timeframe, per the GM rep.

Whether GM is onboarded by June 30 is anyone’s guess seeing as how the Supercharger team was dismantled.

Most of the stations I used allowed me to get just close enough for the cable to reach without contacting the curb or anything, so hopefully it'll get easier for you with time. I've done about a dozen stations so far. stretching from Dallas to Portland, OR.

Awsome! Is that an AMX lurking behind the Falcon. I stumbled across a YouTube channel called autopedia la, has quite a few Mustang GT 350s/GT 350 clones. Love it. Those cars are beast. The new dispensers (V4) have longer cables, a design decision likely made in anticipation of Tesla opening up to other makes.

Brett, how do you know where V4 dispensers are? I looked on Tesla website and it only shows whats open to NACS. I guess you find out when you pill up.
