UPDATE: Thanks to a suggestion from @Mach-Lee, I reset my 12V for 10 minutes and it fixed the issue. Big thanks to them for the help!

Hoping this issue has happened to someone else recently and got it resolved or maybe @Ford Motor Company has a suggestion. At some point in the last two weeks my home charging location was removed. I have a feeling it's from an OTA update. I'm also in the EA program. I only noticed the problem when my charging session went to 100%. I'm now not able to add a location in FordPass or Sync. My previous home location or any other charging locations are not listed. I've uninstalled FordPass, changed my login, reset PaaK and maybe a few other things to get something to work, but to no avail.

On FordPass, when I tap to begin setup of preferred charging times, I get an error, "Sorry FordPass isn't responding Please try again later." There are no previous or saved locations. See screenshots.

On Sync, it's the same issue. No previous or saved charging locations and no option to add any despite having charged at home multiple times as well as a public charger. See photo.

This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. I called Ford BEV and FordPass for help today, but after nearly two hours on the phone, they weren't able to resolve the issue. The BEV rep initially told me I'd have to contact the manufacturer of my charger (Emporia), which isn't even the issue. The car is charging fine. She wasn't understanding me. She transferred me to a FordPass rep who understood my issue and we tried a couple of tricks like turning off and on connectivity settings, but that didn't work. She is certain this is a BEV issue and transferred me back to a BEV rep. BEV said they couldn't help me and referred me to my dealer. The soonest my dealer can get me in is about three weeks from now. Hoping someone on here has any ideas I haven't thought of to get this back working.

probably unrelated but fordpass just released an update today for droid phones. If you have a droid phone you might check yours is updated.

So I'm sure you tried charging at home for a period, unplugging. and you're not getting the option to "save location"? Can you set charging in the sync4 screen in your car? I've had a few updates that cleared my saved/previous locations and all charge settings, but the couple times it happened I was able to do what I mentioned above.

I think you’d be a good candidate for a 12V reset. Give that a shot and see.

This did happen around the time I got the 12V OTA update. By resetting, do you mean disconnect and connect the 12V terminal?

Right, I'm not getting any option to save a location and no charging locations are appearing on the list. I've also had OTA updates change settings, etc. So, I'm thinking that's maybe what happened here.

Yes. 10 mm socket. Remove negative terminal for 10 minutes.
Well, you were absolutely right. Pulled my frunk for the first time and removed the negative terminal for 10 min. Reinstalled the terminal, plugged in the charger and, bam, there was the charging location to add. Big thanks, my friend! Appreciate it.

I wonder if it would have been sufficient to just pull the TCU fuse, instead of doing the whole 12V disconnect. Although in the first picture the connected services icon is present, so maybe it wasn't a TCU issue.

Glad you got it resolved though with Mach-Lee's help.

Just to chime in; After the 6.3 update my home charging location got messed up and refuses to do it's thing. It fixed itself by adding it as new adress. The strange thing is that the second I did that, the old adress was back and I now have two identially addresses (even if it only responds on the last one I added). Hmmm

I have exactly the same experience. I’ve tried all kinds of resets. I charged with the provided charger etc. this sounds like you did a total reset by disconnecting the 12v for a time? The Ford Pass people don’t understand the issue. Mine happened with 6.6 update on 12/13.

The call center reps are really only able to troubleshoot basic issues that can be found in manuals and support documents - which is fine for probably 90% of their calls. Issues like these require more technical support that they aren't equipped with.

I received three updates right within a week, so I'm not sure which one was the culprit. Definitely try pulling your negative terminal for 10 minutes. It's an easy job worth trying instead of waiting weeks for a dealer to diagnose it.

I received update 23-PU1024-MCP-FX “An adjustment has been made to help enhance the 12V battery performance.” on my 23.5 Premium and immediately had this same issue. Resetting the 12v battery for 10 minutes also fixed it for me. Cheers!

23-PU1024-MCP-FX last night. Same issue, no location, charge time or target for home. Tried ford charger vs my Grizzl-e, no luck. 12v Battery pulled, timer on for 10min.

Got the same update yesterday. Was your home location missing from FordPass, or was it there and just not recognizing you are there?
