What makes you think this was sent to dealers only? I can 100% guarantee it was made available to far more people, businesses and places than the dealership network.

Dealers have shared this news publicly with customers, it's not a secret. If I didn't post it, somebody else would have. I think almost everyone agrees it's less confusing and more helpful if I post the info and provide context, that's kind of what I do here.

And BTW service bulletins/manufacturer communications about recalls and defects are considered public information that legally must be made available to NHTSA and the public.

The SSM reads like some of the info was gathered here. Not like this is secret stuff as we knew about it before the dealers and it has been reported and discussed here for awhile now. Nothing knew in that SSM just the knowledge that Ford has acknowledged it and are working on it. Nothing wrong with that great to see they are proactive and becoming a bit more transparent.

Well for one he does not cry wolf. 2 I was flat out told that is why 2 of my recalls were not done when my car was in.

It's early May. Hoping for a miracle today for these affected owners.

This particular problem is likely pretty far up on the totem pole for getting resolved. May 2 far up? Probably not.

I had the car in to the dealer for minor service. Unsolicited, they performed 23B50 (Charge Cord Stuck) and returned the car to me last night. They never mentioned the possible problem with 1PD that they may have just caused.

This didn't surprise me, but I hoped for more honesty.

Effectively immediately, service and recall programs for the Mach-E that involve powertrain software updates have been halted. This seems to be related to intermittent 1-Pedal drive faults encountered on a small population of vehicles after powertrain software updates were recently performed by dealers. Here is the list of programs stopped:

• 21G01 - BlueCruise Module Programing
• 22S29 - Level 2 Diagnostics Disabled for Secondary Axle Torque
• 22S41 - Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module (SOBDMC) and Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) Software Update
• 23B50 - Charge Cord Stuck – Reprogram Battery Charge Control Module
• 23S56 - High Voltage Battery Junction Box (HVBJB) Replacement

If your vehicle is scheduled for service on any of these programs, that service will need to be postponed until further notice.

This post will be updated once the hold is released.

Question Mach-Lee..so I had my second HVJB replaced March this year being one year apart from the 1st replacement on my 22 GTPE. Was pretty impressed that it took only four days to replace the HVJB. Is this a good thing for my recent updates or am I going back having malfunction warning anxiety? ??‍?
