If you want to add it aftermarket, great. No Ford R&D $$ should be spent on making it a feature on the car. Thinking about it, I think the Mustang growl, while excellent on an ICE Mustang, would sound incredibly silly on the MME. The Charger is a silly car to begin with, so it's expected to sound silly.

No. Electric car should sound like an electric car. My Trans Am sounds like it has a Ram Air IV engine in it (since it has the ‘041 cam and round port heads).

Making a powerful electric car as noisy as a ICE car is about as crazy as putting feathers on an airplane to make it look more like a bird. This is merely catering to the immature craving of us guys wanting that old V-8 sound from our youth. I have come to like the silent acceleration of an EV and the surprised looks on the faces of the kids driving these ridiculously loud cars when I pull away from them. I am one of the people who laugh when I see a Honda Civic with a tail fin and and exhaust pipe big enough for a diesel locomotive. Louder is always faster...right???

I’m gonna be in the minority and say yes because I miss the physiological response from hearing gears shift and an engine growl. Necessary no, but I do miss it some days.
