Those are examples of all weather tires, you are thinking of all season that do not have the three peak mountain snowflake rating. The stock tires on the MME are either All season or summer tires. With one exception, the to be launched rally will come OEM with the All weather Michelin Cross Climate 2.All weather tires are not that good in snow and ice. There is another grade of tires called All Conditions with a mountain snd snowflake symbol. These can be used year-round as opposed to Winter tires which must be removed for the summer. Michelin X-Climate and Goodyear weather ready are 2 examples. We had 10’ on the ground last winter and they worked like chmps.
All weather, variable conditions, all conditions, are all marketing terms. Sorry that's clear as mud but that's the way it works.
Technically they are all season tires but manufacturers market them as all weather when they added the three peak mountain snowflake
