Posted a similar question in another part of the forum, but I'm desperate for information. Took delivery of a used 2021 Job 1 MME Premium last week, and after 48 hours the front charging ports stopped working and next day I started getting multiple parking sensor errors. I was able to use the self-parking one time to back into a space, and the errors started a couple hours after that...weirdly, after I sent over a speed bump.

I have so many questions...

1. Took it to a dealer and they said it needed a blue cruise update, parking break harness check, HVAC reprogram, charge cord stuck reprogram, and HVBJB recall. But the FordPass app says I only need HVAC, charge cord, and HVBJB recall. So my first question...which is right?
2. They said I needed a new APIM, and that all of my issues - USB, sensor, and update failures - were all due to bad APIM. My next question - does this sound right? They didn't even try replacing the USB hub or any sensors.
3. the parts distributor told them (according to the dealer) that they couldn't send a new APIM because they were "waiting on programming from Ford." My third question - is this something anyone else has seen?

I've been thinking about going to a bigger dealer nearby and getting a second opinion, as I'm starting to think the dealer I went to may not have known what they were talking about, but before I did that I wanted to check here as there seems to be a lot of knowledge on these forums. I'm starting to wonder if going with an MME was a mistake between the issues and the dealer not being any help...

Thanks to anyone who can help me figure out what might be going on!

One additional piece of info - my MME has PowerUP 6.1.0, so as of October it was able to take an update.

Is the dealer unwilling to complete the repairs?

The dealer told me that everything - USB ports, sensors, updates, etc. - was related to needing a new APIM, which I questioned but they were insistent. They didn't try anything else and released the car back to me saying that the parts distributor couldn't send a new APIM since they were "waiting on programming from Ford." So based on what they were saying, they couldn't do any repairs since they couldn't get a new APIM.

I have a feeling they're getting their wires crossed, as I've read that the HVBJB might be waiting on programming, but they had no answer as to why that prevented sending a new APIM. Everything else in the car works perfectly, so no other signs of bad APIM.

If you post your VIN to the big FDRS thread someone can look at your car remotely and tell you what they see in terms of what your car needs. But it couldn't hurt to also get a second opinion. It would also be good to see if the 12V battery voltage is low. A low 12V battery can cause all kinda of weirdness.

I'll do both of those, thanks!
