I didn't have one, so I thought I'd share a positive story.
I picked up my Grabber Blue AWD ER on Monday. Aside from the 8 month wait (you can almost have a baby in that kind of time!), it was a completely painless process. They parked the car inside one of their showrooms so I could inspect it in the dry (it was pouring rain outside). From what I can tell, it appears to have all the latest software updates and everything is working as expected including BlueCruise and Park Assist (maybe I have the last one that came with the actual hardware). After signing my life away, I was on the road about 20 minutes later.
As a result of this experience, I can highly recommend purchasing a car from North Star Ford in Calgary. I chose them specifically because they're one of the smaller outfits and tend to give a more personal touch. Even though there's been price increases from Ford, they honoured the original price quoted with no fuss (didn't have to ask - they brought it up). They didn't try to tack on ADM or anything shady like that, and the extremely limited inventory of cars they have on the lot are also priced at list (there's one other MME showing in their inventory if people are looking, but I think it's a mannequin car - didn't see it on the lot when I was there). They did offer additional services (ceramic coating, paint protection film, rust-proofing, etc.) and I opted to give them my business on some of that since I was planning on having it done anyhow and their pricing was competitive vs. other quotes I'd received.
Let me introduce you to my ER AWD Mach E named Prefect:
I immediately made the nice detailing work they did dirty by driving in the rain, but what are you going to do?
Can't control the weather.
On the plus side the ceramic coating appears to be doing its job nicely.
