Software updates during recall? Recall feedback?

Thanks, I’m not sure when and if I will get this done. I haven’t noticed any sound changes. While I’m keeping it pretty shiny, I’m looking for anything Peculiar. Don’t know if its a visible matter tho. But knowing how long it takes for repair makes a difference to me.
I’m working on scheduling mine now. The service manager says it should be done in one day if all goes well, but plan for two just in case.
That said, if the windshield breaks during removal, all bets are off. Windshield availability is dicey. The recall notice I received does state that a loaner vehicle is to be supplied.

Good news for you on the fix. Hope they don’t break the glass too! I may wait till parts aren’t in such short supply.

To be honest, I don’t think it was completely done. They sent me a picture - it was all put back together on the outside but the inside liners were still not back together. I’m guessing that curing time was happening.

I generally like my dealer (High volume and just a few miles from Dearborn Mi), but they’ve had my car for over 3 weeks, and still not done.

Perhaps a COVID outbreak has set them back (truly not sure), but I really regret not waiting until they had more experience with this particular recall.

Gosh… I would not like being without my Mach for 3 weeks. I’m in no hurry for the fix yet, unless something happens that tells me otherwise. I’ll be feeling out the confidence of the person doing the job and who they hire out for the repair.
