It works well most of the time but there are some glitches
On 210 going eastward in pasadena it takes the sign that trucks should keep 55 miles per hour seriously for some reason
On Victory blvd sometimes the school time 25 speed limit is taken seriously too

Yes I hate the school zone recongnition. Night, weekends and after school hours. It does not matter. There are 3 schools nearby me in 50 MPH zones. Annoying! Other than that it works perfect for me.

It's the recognition of the 45MPH min speed on a 70MPH interstate for me. It only took one half hour drive for me to decide to disable this feature.

I’ve never had it pick up the “minimum” sign, but it will occasionally pick up a sign from the feeder road when I’m on the freeway.

I like the option quite a bit and will keep it on. I did have an interesting time yesterday though in a residential neighborhood where the speed limit presumably increased from 25 to 30 (I didn't see the sign).

The MME registered that 30 as 80.

Wheeeeeee. ;)

(edit to add that in this area of town I wouldn't be surprised if somebody vandalized the sign to make the 3 an 8....one of these days I'm going to go back to see if that is the case or if it happens again)

It happens to me on the 241 toll road in OC. Drops to 55 when it sees the truck sign. And in Texas, it always kept seeing the frontage road or exit speed sign and slam on the brakes, going from 70 to 40 on a freeway is not fun.

It doesn't slow down for them, and you can turn off those recognitions.
