I first noticed this after 6.8.0.

When I am driving my speedometer will not update very frequently. In normal acceleration it will display a new speed every 5-15 mph. So I see 0…8…15…25…32….40…48…50. Slowing down with 1PD I will see the opposite. It dropped 15mph between updated display.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it?

Can you safely get a video?
Videos posted in first post edit now.

it was actually working well today but then horrible tonight. You will also notice several times where I was at a complete stop and the speedometer still showed some speed.

Have you tried it in driving modes other than unbridled? I’ll have to pay attention to mine to see if it displays like yours. Definitely not correct.

I got the same thing in engage mode. It definitely wasn’t like this before one of the last updates.

I’m okay with slow rolling OTAs if it means these sorta wonky things get sorted out

Only thing I noticed is mine stays at 1 mph when I am at a complete stop and never goes to 0mph no matter how long I stay stopped.

I also have this on my 23 GT with 6.3.0. It seemed to start with the 6.2.1 update. It’s not just the speedometer, it’s as if the entire cluster screen’s refresh rate drops to 1hz or lower! Try your turn signal and you’ll see the blinking arrow indicator doesn’t blink or you may not see it at all, or it’ll blink every 5 seconds….

Ford Mustang Mach-E Speedometer updating speed infrequently 20231228_092654

First time I've noticed it, at least. With the speedo off to the right (thanks 6.08) it's not really in my line of sight once parked.

Good morning, Aaron! These speedometer display concerns isn't something we want you to experience with your Mach-E. If you are still needing of assistance, I would be glad to see how I can help you out! Just shoot us a PM with your VIN and dealer name/location, and I'll get right on it. To send a private message, just click on our username and select "Start Conversation". Thank you!

Don’t really need a private message for you to tell me to go to the dealer.
