We camp in the back of the Mach e, going again next weekend. Camp mode would be a lifesaver.
I slept in my car at a campground last weekend, with the mobile charger plugged in to a NEMA 14-50 outlet. Turned off the auto-turnoff feature, set the heat for the night (got down to 36 ish overnight), and woke up with everything exactly where I left it. I haven't tried camping in the car while it's not plugged in, so I don't know if the car will stay on forever in that case.

Some of you may remember, that there is a common problem with the walk away feature/phone as a key, the interior alarm resets to ON regardless of the menu settings. Can anyone verify this problem has been resolved? One work around is to turn off the lock on walk away feature.
It has not been resolved. And I'm not sure how turning off walk away lock is a work around unless the intent is to not lock the car at all.

Yes car would stay on until the battery dies.

One really stupid way around this whole issue is to put the driver's window down, get out of the car, lock the car using the lock button on the inside of the driver's door, then raise the driver's window using the one-touch window switch. This way, the car remains locked, is able to be left powered on, won't have the internal motion sensor enabled, and remains unlockable upon returning.

A stupid workaround, but just offering a way in case anyone desperately needs to leave doggo in the car.

I would love sentry mode. Find out who just gave me a door ding, grrr. I have owned dogs and never understood why people bring their dogs with them, only to leave them in the car? Why not just leave the dog home?

It's not always possible to "just leave the dog home". That's why many EV manufacturers have included Pet Mode in their cars. Rivian even has a dedicated button to activate Pet Mode.

For example, often when I'm on my way back from walking the dogs, I need to stop at the grocery store for 10 minutes. That's just one of many examples of situations when it would be useful to have Pet Mode.
