My mistake. Question is still valid. Want to know what I should be checking. Wasting a lot of time logging on to ford.com. Is this where I'll see it first?

Seriously. An update as to why there haven't been any updates or any communication would make a huge difference. From the lack of communication it makes Ford seem incompetent.

I just got my build date: week of May 9, 2021. I ordered on March 15, 2021.

I was not expecting to get a build date this early. Of course things can (and probably will) change, but it's nice to see.

I ordered a week after you. Fingers crossed for a happy surprise next week.
I wonder if the chosen dealer has anything to do with the delays some are experiencing.

It seems that most people who ordered after around January 18th have heard nothing yet.

That’s me. It seems like orders from the last couple weeks in January fell into a black hole. I’ve bugged my salesman, his manager, the regional rep and Mach-E Order Support. Same response from all. “I don’t know.”

(It is difficult to type this without a stream of obscenities.)

My dealer has said that anecdotally, they've seen orders take anywhere from 1-6 weeks from order submission to notification of scheduled build date. This is for the Southern California region.

Dealer also said they haven't seen any correlation between trim selection and scheduled build date.

That might be the key. Dealer is one of the few variables not present on the spreadsheet. Mine is relatively small as dealers go with only two pending MME orders including mine. It would also make sense for Ford not to be forthcoming with that information.

Perhaps the trick is to order from a high volume dealer.

I think generally if you're a higher volume dealer you get priority when it comes to vehicle orders. Also my dealership is a Ford/Lincoln dealership so who knows if that plays a role.
