Am I the only one with an early May date with no production date? Grabber blue gtpe. Nothing. I told my dealer all of you had dates and he says the forum is full of liars. I’m about to give up and find a different car. ???

I ordered a Premium Space White AWD EXT. On 5-15. No production date yet. I canceled that order after an other forum member canceled theirs and I got their cancelation 6-30. I would be so frustrated right now

Did you order online or through your dealer? If you ordered online, you can check the Manage Order page On the Ford web site to see if you have had a status change.

I ordered a Premium Space White AWD EXT. On 5-15. No production date yet. I canceled that order after an other forum member canceled theirs and I got their cancelation 6-30. I would be so frustrated right now
Same configuration for me, ordered 5/29, I got my production date yesterday for end of October.

Folks, forget the dealer's nonsense. Call Ford directly for accurate, albeit limited, info; 800-334-4375. They will look up your order and tell you if there are any hold codes, confirm status, or whatever.

ordered online. no updates at all...i check daily
Bummer. I had two communications from Ford: Order accepted by Dealer, and now you wait for chips and like it. Everything else I had to either get myself or call my dealer, who is just as much a mushroom as I am.

Ford accepted my online order for DMG Premium 4X on 5/5/21. The status has not changed since then. I also put down a reservation deposit for an Ioniq 5 on July 12. Where I live, the annual registration fee for electric cars will increase by 20X for those first registered in 2022 compared to those first registered in 2021 so I'd prefer to be able to register a new one in 2021. The car I buy may be determined by the manufacturer's ability to deliver.

My 5/19 order (10/11 production week) was a Premium RWD extended range battery.

I called that number, and after a brief hold actually got a live person. They had information that was not on the website. I ordered a GTPE on 4/28, and it showed my car was scheduled to build last week. But then I got the "6 week" email. The lady on the phone today though said that the system shows my car being delivered to the dealer on 10/4. She indicated that if that info was in the system, then my car has already cleared the "chip" hurdle. So that was helpful.

The bad news was that since a VIN has already been assigned, it will remain a 2021 model, even with an October delivery. I was hoping that anything delivered after September or October would be a 2022, but that is not the case. :-(
