Just saw in our Ford account that our build date has been pushed back to week of 11/29. Seems pretty clear we won't have the car until 2022. Maybe I should be posting to the cranky thread instead!

Did it say no tax credit for any EV made outside the country. I did not the actual proposal but that’s not what I understand

I found this on Bloomberg. I really don’t want to read the actual house proposal yet.

“The $7,500 credit would apply to all vehicles regardless of where the vehicle is made for the first five years after the bill is enacted, according to the House draft. But in the second five years it will apply only to ones made in the U.S. An additional $500 will be available for any car if the battery is made in the U.S. and $4,500 if the carmarker employs a workforce represented by a union”

Someone spouts off something that is totally unfounded based on everything published so far about the tax bill, and then it turns into a diatribe about Biden, Trump, and politicians.
