I am a little afraid I am going to regret not getting the premium instead of the select, but I actually don't really want the glass roof,

I was in that boat too. I've never liked moonroofs. I hate the sun shining in my eyes, even peripherally. But I bit the bullet and ordered the Premium anyway. Taking a leap of faith that the roof has a dark enough shading, and that the glass starts far enough back that the sun won't hit the driver's eyes.

If done right (modest light, well shaded and diffused), I think I'll like it. And the extra headroom. Fingers crossed.

I have a fixed glass roof in my Mustang and I love it. It does have a pull shade which takes most of the sun out, but I never use it.

Because these forums only represent a small subset of all customers. 204 only represents the members of these forums that placed an order and entered it here. It's likely less than 1% of all customers (most don't even know these forums exist).

While there's roughly 1200 registered members here, many are from Europe (where orders can't be made in most countries yet). And many are just lookyloos that joined the forums because they were curious or wanted to chat or research or complain, or made a few posts but never bothered to return. Some never reserved a Mach-e. Some reserved but decided to cancel (surely including some that lost their jobs or took a financial hit because of the virus shutdowns). And some reserved but are still sitting on their reservation waiting to order for one reason or another.

Hmmm. Sounds like the same may have happened to you as some of the rest of us. It's possible your dealer moved your reservation to an OPEN ORDER (where it shows "In-Store Order" on your Ford account screen), but has not submitted it to Ford yet. They likely wouldn't actually submit the order without your approval, and without a deposit to the dealer.

Many dealers suck at contacting the customer when that happens though, so I'd highly recommend contacting the dealer to find out what happened and whether they hit SUBMIT or not. It's probably still sitting there waiting to submit.

Yep. It was for me. Took about a week to finally get the right person (ended up being the GM) at the dealership that actually knew something about the process. The reservation system is brand new to them, so I cut them some slack on the learning curve. But OTOH, it's their job so ultimately it's their responsibility to get it straight.

I ended up doing all my contact by email rather than phone, since I wanted to document every thing we talked about (like X-Plan, no extra charges, etc).

I wonder if that's just Mach-e's, or also some Broncos mixed in too which share the same reservation system? There's already been 3x-4x more Bronco reservations than MMEs.

He was very clear that was just Mach-E as that date was before Bronco ordering was opened.
