Hi neighbor! No, I bought my Acura from Rizza but I live 5 minutes away from Currie Motors of Frankfort so I tried to buy from them. Unfortunately they wouldn’t accept the Ford X-Plan so I went 20 miles away to Terry’s Ford in Peotone. I used to go to Terry’s when they were in Orland Park and I had my Lincoln MKS so I was familiar with them. They gladly accepted the X-Plan. As I had said earlier, I didn’t become aware of Ford’s new electric car and once I did I ordered it right away. That was 10-12-2020 so I don’t expect to see it until April - June 2021 sometime. Do you know anybody else from south suburbs who is waiting for their Mustang ? ?

Hi,
I also just heard that Terrys in Peotone is top notch in their service department. I ordered my Rapid Red Mache on line and chose Rizza as my dealer. I have a build date 1-25 and a vin#. They agreed to honor the x plan. My son and I go to Frankforts cruise nights in the summer. I have a 66 Mustang convertible and my son has a 60 Falcon. Hopefully next summer we can cruise to Frankfort with our Mache's.

Funny you should mention Frankfort Cruise Nights because I used to go all the time when I had Illinibird. I entered their Car Show in 2005 and won 1st Place in the 1977-2005 Thunderbird Class.

I think many of the Mustang loyalists would hate us because we're not the real Mustang! I used to get this sometimes from the Thunderbird loyalists.

PS - Actually Currie Motors scored higher in their Service Department on a lot of car web site evaluations.

Yes, Frankfort car shows and cruise nights are the best. Plainfield also has a great cruise night in the summer time. My wife likes to go and we frequent the restaurants in town. Just curiosity, will the Mache be your daily driver or occasional ride. I have a 2014 Cmax Hybrid and will probably keep it, its a fun car to drive. We also have my wife's Lincoln MKC to drive, if she lets me. Happy Thanksgiving

We are “loaning” our 2016 Fusion Hybrid to our daughter and grandson in Sycamore IL. The 2021 Mustang Mach E will then take the Fusion’s place and become our daily drive vehicle (only within the cars range from our house). Our 2015 Acura MDX remains our travel car when we drive to see our other daughter near West Palm Beach FL.

Just checked the order site and saw I now have a "2021.0 Mustang Mach-E
PREMIUM."
Why the .0 add now I wonder?

I see the same thing. Looks like they've reformatted some of the text too.

I installed (the electrician installed) a 240 volt 50 amp GFCI breaker dedicated line (6 gauge wire) in the garage. I’ll use the 240 volt 32 amp mobile charger that Ford includes with our MME’s. The little extra charge (and slightly faster 100% charge times) that the hard wired Ford Connect offered isn’t worth the extra cost IMHO. You can set the charging times in Sync 4A as well as when you’ll be leaving and how you want the climate when you leave. The Ford Pass will work as an indirect control over the mobile charger (it will be controlled through the car - Sync 4A). Ford Pass just won't use Wi-Fi directly to the mobile charger (or use Bluetooth) like it would to the Ford Connect unit. I'll also keep the 110/240 volt mobile charger in the car when I travel any distance just in case (more likely I'll find a level 2 charging station and charge there if needs be).

Just checked my Ford account page a few minuets ago and it has been upgraded to Scheduled For Production. No date was given yet.

What that screen shows - the green boxes are completed. Next step is Schedule for Production - not yet scheduled hence no date and no green. In the circles above that screen, you should see a blue circle with check box for In production if a date is scheduled.

I see the same 2021.0 . I am assuming that 2021.0 implies there may be a digit added to 2021 later after initial builds? Perhaps some changes coming after summer? Not sure unless the 2021.0 is simply a formatting thing on the website because its a number.

Maybe the .0 is the full autonomous driving software that will be coming soon.
