My order number appears to be 4 characters, but most of the order numbers listed are 8. Is Ford using a mix of 4 and 8 character order numbers?

Added my California Route 1 AWD Rapid Red to the list. Ordered 11/20/21 and dealer accepted 11/22/21 and I got a submitted order email mid December. Still no production date or VIN and no estimated delivery date, dealer has no insight.

Hi everyone, my first post. I had to order through the dealer because when I selected the dealer on the website, it was adding a $400 tint to the order and making the deposit $1K.
I received the email from Ford saying my order has been confirmed, but no order number whatsoever. It also doesn't show on my ford profile yet (deposit was paid on 12/30). Is this normal?

Just added my order. I'm having the same issue rcechinel mentioned above. I got an email on 12/27 from Ford confirming my order has been placed but didn't see an order number on that email. When I log into my account on Ford it doesn't show up under reservations or orders. I've sent a follow up note to my dealer to see if they know what's going on. I wondered if it has to do with the holidays.
