Consensus is the 4-digit numbers are dealer-specific only, and have nothing to do with Ford's overall sequencing or priority. Lokks like a dealer-universe number, not a Ford-universe number.

By "submission date" do you mean order date? The original plan we saw had the scheduling to begin Aug 20th, but I am pretty sure that got pushed back with the "mach drop" nonsense. Since that ends sept 15th, I am guessing the scheduling of customer orders won't begin until that date. So, I think you are OK to get it sooner rather than later - although that is a complete guess by me.

I hope I get it sooner than later, the dealer is says it should be in 2020 but like many of you likely I've learned that when Ford says you can purchase the vehicle 100% online they definitely didn't mean anything like the Tesla process. Dealerships are still dealerships.
My point was that I do not think reservations were possible on November 7.
