I found mine on your list quickly. Can I assume that means a VIN exists? Getting the opposite response from my dealer...

Yeah, all in the list have vins assigned...my dealer didn't help me either, which is why I had to start hunting.

I don't know if this interests anyone to look at but when I hunted for my vin I ended up with a list of over 4k others until I found mine. This list would be just premiums/first editions based on the vin format I used, and is from about a week or more ago. I removed the customer name, window sticker, and vin info because I'm not a total savage with user data, but you can extrapolate some info on build dates and dealers that ordered them if you are curious. Again, this isn't an all inclusive list, and when I initially parsed the info I only searched as far as the dealer info because I figured once I got my vin I could look up remaining details. I left the https:// off of the link because I didn't know how pleasurable it would be to load a 1 mb file every view of this page.

Wow! Very clever. Did the aemservices customerorder URL seem to rate limit or block you at any point?

Of the U.S. destined Premium/FE vehicles you found, about 25% are First Edition. At my own dealer from your list (which is a subset of all orders), 4 are Premium and 5 are FE.

I'd love to see the complete list, with all models and complete VIN numbers. That will let us break down orders by trim, color, etc, and I'm curious to see how many orders are going to each of my local dealers.

Interesting - Like others I found mine on your list. 3 other orders with my dealer attached, all FE's, but no Stock listing for them. I had called my dealer last week with no response yet, one of the questions was going to be if he'd give me the VIN of their demo unit, guess there's a chance it just didn't make it on your list?

I didn't see that it limited me, but I was afraid they might block me or limit me, so I did it in smaller batches of around a thousand, but each batch took a while because either I'm terrible at what I was trying to do or it just takes that long in to hit a web resource and get the response and it adds up over many thousands. I kind of want to keep going and get the full list too, keeping in mind that things would change with orders and production dates. I'll see what work looks like today and maybe add some more.

Yeah, I would guess it just didn't make the list because I hadn't cycled through all the possible vins, or it might have been a non-premium.

I saw about 5 MMEs form my dealer but I Don't think any of them are mine unless I'm looking at the ID number wrong. What part of the VIN is included in that ID string?

It doesn't look like the ID is a subset of the vin. I'm running some more today, so I'll add to the list when I have a decent batch to add.

Track your Mach-E here using your known VIN - You'll then see the "Order Number" which is your dealerships internal order ID (not your Ford Reservation/Order number). This is the Order ID shown on the Google Sheets doc.

That was my thought too and I didn’t find it in the original list. Maybe it will get pulled in the next batch.

It is not any part of the vin. Rather, it is the order number assigned in the dealer system to your order. This is different than the reservation/order number assigned by Ford when you reserve/order the car online.

Even if the dealer claims not to have the vin (like mine), they should be able to give you the order number. It is titled "order code" on the screenshot my dealer sent me from their order system.

Good luck!

My order and the stock orders for most of my local dealers are missing, too. I'm assuming it's just because we're only seeing the first 4k premiums.

Ciero, can you try to scrape the other trim levels, too?

Also, why are many entries missing the vin number?

Thank you!

It depends on how much time I have to do more. It's not exactly my specialty, so I did the bare minimum to get the results I wanted. It was more of a personal vendetta against my dealer initially. I didn't include vins with customer names attached because I didn't think it was right to do so as maybe don't want their last names and vin floating around, even though the info is kind of out there already.

Edit: I guess they blocked me for now...I can't load anything else from my IP, but it works from different addresses. It was good while it lasted.
