Well, either my dealer may have not properly placed my order or there is a huge coincidence that just happened lol.

I was wondering why my Ford screen showed that the dealer has accepted my order, but I didn't have a checkmark on the order placed circle. I texted my contact yesterday and he said he'd look into it... And today I received my email from Ford with a March 8th build date lolol

Could be a coincidence, but if you had the same scenario it might be worth reaching out to your dealer ?

I don't think Ford has a concept of a "delayed" order, probably have to cancel your order.

You may even be able pick one off your dealer lot by late Summer 2021. Premium / Infinite Blue is one of the most common orders on this site, and I'm sure dealers will stock those in AWD for the weather in Syracuse. Could maybe even negotiate a better price if your dealer has a few sitting around by then.

Fat chance. If you don't order it, it will probably go to Europe. Doubt there will be any sitting around in lots. If there are, they will probably have healthy ADMs, not discounts.

Well, I got good news and bad today.

My Mach-E order has been scheduled for production the week of February 22nd, 2021 which is sort of good news for most people here.

Sadly, that is about three months too soon. Since I did not order until 9/30/2020, I thought it would not show up until summer. June at the earliest. Anyone know who I could contact at Ford to get this delayed for a few weeks/months?

Mine was originally scheduled for the week of 12/13 with a build date of 12/16. Build date is now 12/15 and the order was sent to the plant yesterday.

I placed my order a day after you and got a March 8th build date, so probably late March early April delivery. However, I'm pretty sure my dealer didn't place my order with Ford in a timely manner so you may indeed get a much better date

I just enter my vin and while the ford website still says production week is 11/29 the tracking link you posted here says 12/11 which is today, at least something is happening
