I’m actually starting to wonder if this was exclusive to EA - the poster on Facebook is making it seem like they’re not in EA.

but then again, the Reddit post mysteriously disappeared so who knows lol

In the past when posts like that pop up, it’s been from Ford employees with a management lease. I guess they must not all know that they get early updates and aren’t supposed to post public info about them.

That makes sense - I saw a very similar post from someone who was a ford employee with a previous OTA update and when somebody asked if they only got it because they were a ford employee, the post magically disappeared….

I won't write what it said, so the EA police and nannies won't track me down in the middle of the night and murder me for revealing an important feature that was announced like 8 months ago that is about to be released via an OTA (gasp! the horror! the shock!).

Suffice it to say, read the title of this thread again for hints. Something about the second word in the title contained something to enable the first word. Then, fill in the rest of the blanks with things like "we're making your Mache E better" and other useless nonsense fluff.

Let's hope that the update gets to everyone in a timely manner instead of Ford's typical software updates where some people get it on day 1 and other people are still waiting 3 to 6 months after the release for the update. Ford isn't as good as Tesla or Rivian at getting the software updates to users in a reasonable timeframe.

Hey today I got the update that allows me to give voice feedback. In 3 months if I still can't charge at Tesla superchargers I'm going to start complaining with the voice feedback feature, if I still have it.

Because it is so secretive, we've only known about this for a year now. I think its ok to post (its not me, I am not in EA).

True we know it’s coming but all the details are not public.

What @hybrid2bev said plus it's beta software. Things happen, as we all have seen recently. There's no point in advertising a non-public update until it's been found to be a stable release.
