How does one know if the car is actually preconditioning? I've never seen a message or acknowledgment that it will do so once I pick a charging station on Google maps using Android Auto.

You can use an ODB2 dongle and carscanner and monitor the temperatures.

In Car scanner, on one of the default screens for the MME, it shows if the battery "Heater" is Heating, Cooling or Off. That's the easiest way to tell without having to constantly monitor the battery temperature.

You can change splash screens in FORScan.

I just did a search. Now I'll need to see if I can change on a 2025...
I do remember changing in 2013 MyFordTouch with a USB stick...

Thought I would post videos of the 4 splash screens that actually work on the Mach-E's display. While there are many screens to choose from, most don't display properly since they were probably designed for a smaller screen so the Ford logo becomes distorted and is virtually round. This is just the startup splash screen with the Ford logo, not the screen with the Mach-E photos. I was able to view and change them in FORScan APIM configuration. The Raptor and Bronco had cool screens. I ended up leaving it on the Mach-E screen not the Mach-E GT screen because I prefer the all blue coloring and not the brown/orange.

Edit: I rarely post videos and not too sure what I'm doing. I made the videos small so they would upload but maybe I didn't have to do that?

This will make life easy to open insted of 3 steps to open

I have also been asking for this for litterally years. The three buttons should be there when the car is in park and then they disappear when you are in a drive mode.

This is a simple mock-up graphic I submitted to Ford in February 2023...and several suggestions for this.

This would be SO much better than drilling down a menu item to be able to open the Trunk, Frunk and stop charging when applicable.

FORD-PLEASE implement this. (note the old UI)...NOT a new request.
