SYNC Reset - has this resolved the blank screen issue?

New GT PE owner here - about six weeks in - and loving my car but I notice that particularly over the past couple of weeks, the SYNC display is acting up more frequently. Someone posted about the hard reset solution -- holding down the right arrow with the volume down for 10 seconds -- and it definitely reset my display. But I'm wondering - for people who have experienced the blank screen or other center display issues, has a hard reset addressed the problem or did it eventually require a trip to the dealer? Thanks!

In my case, the blank screen kept recurring until the dealer replaced the APIM. The reset would fix it only temporarily.
