That does look amazing.Finally got both done. Second light went much better. I’ll try and take a better pick after I get this thing clean. I ordered just light smoke without the hex. Debating doing headlights. But at the rate car projects go with late nights after little one goes to bed it could be a little while. Looks sick with Dark Matter Gray. Lol funny you should mention that. I had to drive my mother in laws 2018 F-150 at night yesterday and couldn’t believe how horrible the headlights were for such a newer vehicle
Yes. Totally NOT impressive. But my last 2 vehicles before were also F-150’s. So when I modified my Mustang and it came out like my F-150, I didn’t know any better. Then I drove my wife’s Mustang Mach-E. Then I peeled my headlight tint.
If I had extra tint at home I’d peel one of the lenses and make a video for folks. Didn’t realize this thread would get so much traction around here.

Thanks for all the guidance you're providing in the thread. I bought the same film and want to tackle my tail lights today or tomorrow. I started looking closer at the tail lights and I can see how doing each lit section separately would be easier but I don't understand how you would match up any seams or cut around each lit section individually without scratching into the plastic of the housing. How did you do that?
Any chance you have any photos of what the wrapped lights look like while illuminated? I like the red, really makes the rear end pop in a sporty way.Instead of going darker en went for the blood look
Personally I never really liked the white on white look of the taillights and full dark on white didn't do it for me either. Dark red taillights on white cars I always fancied so I ordered a strip of "dark" translucent (90%) red wrap for $ 15 and gave it a try myself.
Although it was my first "wrapping" experience i'm very pleased with the result.
The center brakelight will be done soon too but I ran out of wrapping material.
In case it hasn't been said before, YOU DA MAN!@AlpaChino and everyone else who is struggling. I went out in the cold, pulled the tint off one light, and made this video for you. It ain’t perfect but it shows my technique (or lack there-of). In warmer weather with a bit more time, I would do much better. But I’m off to get the kids from school in my Soccer Mom StealthStang

Bit hard to make a decent picture of the illuminated taillights at daytime. I don't have a photo at nighttime (the MME isn't home atm
) either with the taillights on but I did find one during twilight where the red looks very dark to the extend it looks black at a few meters.
