Tesla adapter where do you store it?

Got my NACS adapter a couple weeks ago. Ordered this organizer bag from amazon for the adapter and teslatap. Fits under the trunk cargo deck.

I initially kept my adapter (J1772 at first) in the rear under the cargo floor, but I quickly realized that didn't work well. The only time I need an adapter is on a road trip. With luggage. First time I used it I had to unload all the luggage to get to it. Oops. Goes in the frunk now.

Great point. I'll have to try to remember to move it before a long trip or find a different spot.

Not enough room under the trunk floorboard?

That works when not using it but isn't a good place on a road trip unless you travel really light. I'm not moving all the bags and lifting the floorboard to get to it at every charging stop.

I keep both the Tesla Tap Mini and Ford/NACS adapter in the side pocket of the trunk. When I'm on the road trip I put it in the drivers side door pocket.

Exactly! This is right where I put mine, even still in the box it came in. Like the bag option as a more permanent storage system but the box fit nicely there as well.

I leave it in the glovebox in the box it shipped in, never used the first one and haven't used the replacement one either.

yeah I was pleasantly surprised, I got the replacement a couple weeks ago and only a couple weeks after they told me of the recall. My original order #1717
